The cave is the womb of the earth: retreat, the unconscious, initiation and rebirth. Entering a cave is entering into yourself.
When the dream feels light
A cave of shelter or a light within it promises discovery, healing and inner treasures.
When the dream feels dark
A cave that traps you or a dark entrance you fear points to old fears, depression or a part of you that is hidden.
Ask yourself
What is waiting in the depths of me?

The card of this dream
The High Priestess. The secret knowledge behind the veil, an intuition that knows before it can explain. The High Priestess sits between the black and white pillars before a veil, the scroll of hidden law in her lap and the moon at her feet. She is intuition, silence and secret knowledge: the answer is not yet visible, and it will come from within, not from outside.
