The witch is feminine power in its wild form: magic, knowledge of herbs and secrets, and also the dark mother who curses. In dreams she shows a hidden power, or fear of it.
When the dream feels light
A wise witch speaks of intuition, healing and a power you can claim.
When the dream feels dark
A threatening witch points to manipulation, envy, or fear of a woman or of your own power.
Ask yourself
What power in me have I been afraid to use?

The card of this dream
The High Priestess. The secret knowledge behind the veil, an intuition that knows before it can explain. The High Priestess sits between the black and white pillars before a veil, the scroll of hidden law in her lap and the moon at her feet. She is intuition, silence and secret knowledge: the answer is not yet visible, and it will come from within, not from outside.
