The key is the solution, access, a secret and the power to open or close. Finding a key in a dream often means the answer is within your reach.
When the dream feels light
Finding a key promises a solution, a discovery or an access that opens.
When the dream feels dark
Losing a key or a key that does not fit points to frustration, a missed chance or a secret you cannot reach.
Ask yourself
What am I trying to open?

The card of this dream
The Hierophant. Tradition, teaching and the wisdom of those who walked before you. The Hierophant blesses two kneeling followers between the pillars of the temple, the crossed keys at his feet. He is tradition, teaching, institutions and shared belief: learn from a master, follow the proven way, seek counsel.
