The king is the ruler, the self in its sovereign form: authority, responsibility and the order of a kingdom. He shows how you govern your own life.
When the dream feels light
A just king speaks of success, recognition and mastery of your life.
When the dream feels dark
A tyrant or a fallen king points to abuse of power, fear of authority or a loss of control.
Ask yourself
Am I the ruler of my own life?

The card of this dream
The Emperor. Order, authority and the strength to build walls that protect. The Emperor sits on a stone throne carved with rams, armored under his robe, with barren mountains behind him. He is order, authority, structure and the father: build, organize and take responsibility, and stability will follow.
