The Builder: the foundation: order, effort and the patience to build what lasts.
Life path
The life path is the road you came to walk. It comes from the full date of your birth, and it cannot be changed.
You came to learn order, work and steadfastness. Your road is built brick by brick: you are the one who makes things real, who keeps promises, who builds the foundation that others will stand on. Life may give you limits early, little money, heavy duties, slow progress, precisely so that you learn to build. The work of this life is to create something lasting without becoming rigid, and to remember that the structure exists to serve life, not to imprison it.
In love
In love you are faithful, serious and protective. You show love through acts, not words; your lesson is to open up emotionally, to be spontaneous, and to let romance in.
In work
Your work thrives in structure: building, engineering, administration, finance, craftsmanship, any work that needs reliability and method.
Gift and shadow
Its gift: discipline, loyalty and practical skill.
Its shadow: rigidity, stubbornness and work without joy.
Expression
The expression, from every letter of your birth name, is the set of tools you came with: what you are able to do.
Your name gives you method, reliability and the capacity for hard work. You are able to turn any plan into something solid.
Soul urge
The soul urge, from the vowels, is what your heart secretly wants.
Your heart wants security: order, stability, a solid home, and the knowledge that what you build will last.
Personality
The personality, from the consonants, is the face that others see first.
Others see you as solid, serious and reliable, sometimes as strict. People rely on you.
As a pinnacle
A life is read in four seasons, the pinnacles. Each has its own number, and each brings a challenge to be met.
A season of work and building: effort, discipline and foundations that will last.
As a personal year
A year of work and foundations: build, organise, look after your body and your money. Effort now becomes stability later.
This year, build: every brick laid now will hold.
When 4 is missing from your name
The numbers missing from your name are karmic lessons: things this life will ask you to learn.
Learning order, discipline and steady work.
As a challenge
Order: to work with patience, neither lazy nor rigid.
Born on these days
The birthday number is a small gift given for the journey, a talent you can always count on.
Born on the 4th: practical and hard-working, able to organize and to build with patience.
Born on the 13th: hard-working and practical, able to build lasting things through effort and discipline.
Born on the 31st: practical and creative, a hard worker who builds with imagination.
What the numbers say
What the old book says (L. Dow Balliett, The Philosophy of Numbers, 1908): The builder. The most personal of the numbers, 4 judges everything through the intellect and builds, by its own energy, landmarks that carry its name. It wants land, home and security, and to protect family and country. Balliett warns that what is built for self alone crumbles. Its colours are green and blue.
