What the old book says (L. Dow Balliett, The Philosophy of Numbers, 1908): The builder. The most personal of the numbers, 4 judges everything through the intellect and builds, by its own energy, landmarks that carry its name. It wants land, home and security, and to protect family and country. Balliett warns that what is built for self alone crumbles. Its colours are green and blue.
Where the idea comes from
The idea of “angel numbers” is recent. It was popularised around the year 2000 by the American writer Doreen Virtue, and the classical books of numerology do not contain it.
