777 repeats the number 7. In numerology a repeated number is read as that number spoken louder: 7 is the Seeker, the inner search: solitude, study, faith and the mysteries behind things.
What 7 brings
Its gift: depth, intuition and a mind that cuts to the truth.
Its shadow: isolation, suspicion and a coldness that hides the heart.
Counsel
Withdraw a little. Study, think, pray or walk alone: the answer comes in silence.
What the numbers say
What the old book says (L. Dow Balliett, The Philosophy of Numbers, 1908): Rest and reflection. 7 is a mystery to those close to it, opening only when it chooses and giving lavishly when it does. Refined, exacting and a finisher of work, it does best on its own rather than in partnership. Balliett's warning is restless chatter about trifles when the higher self is ignored.
Where the idea comes from
The idea of “angel numbers” is recent. It was popularised around the year 2000 by the American writer Doreen Virtue, and the classical books of numerology do not contain it. OccultJournal therefore does not promise a message from angels: it reads the repeated number through its old Pythagorean meaning and leaves the rest to you. Notice what you were thinking or doing when the number appeared.
