The Sovereign: power in the world: ambition, money, authority and the law of balance.
Life path
The life path is the road you came to walk. It comes from the full date of your birth, and it cannot be changed.
You came to learn power, money and authority, and how to use them well. Your road runs through the material world: ambition, business, organization, influence and the tests that come with them. You may know both great success and great loss, because this number learns through the balance of giving and receiving. The work of this life is to master the world without being mastered by it, and to understand that true power serves something larger than yourself.
In love
In love you are generous, protective and proud. You want a strong partner and a relationship that is also a partnership in life; your lesson is to leave work at the door and not to rule at home.
In work
Your work thrives in authority: business, finance, law, management, real estate, any field where you can organize and lead on a large scale.
Gift and shadow
Its gift: strength, judgement and the ability to make things real.
Its shadow: greed, control and a hardness that forgets the soul.
Expression
The expression, from every letter of your birth name, is the set of tools you came with: what you are able to do.
Your name gives you executive power, judgment and ambition. You are able to organize, manage and achieve material success.
Soul urge
The soul urge, from the vowels, is what your heart secretly wants.
Your heart wants achievement: to succeed, to be respected, to have power over your own life and resources.
Personality
The personality, from the consonants, is the face that others see first.
Others see you as strong, successful and authoritative. You make an impression of power.
As a pinnacle
A life is read in four seasons, the pinnacles. Each has its own number, and each brings a challenge to be met.
A season of achievement and power: career, money, authority and their tests.
As a personal year
A year of power and harvest: money, career and recognition. What you built is now weighed; stand up and take what is yours.
This year, claim your power: ask for what you are worth.
When 8 is missing from your name
The numbers missing from your name are karmic lessons: things this life will ask you to learn.
Learning to handle money, power and authority wisely.
As a challenge
Power: to handle money and authority without losing your soul.
Born on these days
The birthday number is a small gift given for the journey, a talent you can always count on.
Born on the 8th: ambitious and capable, gifted for business and for managing resources.
Born on the 17th: ambitious and independent, with a mind for business and great perseverance.
Born on the 26th: capable and ambitious, with a talent for organizing and a strong sense of responsibility.
What the numbers say
What the old book says (L. Dow Balliett, The Philosophy of Numbers, 1908): The first of Balliett's free numbers, a broad, strong vibration felt by the whole community. 8 is meant to earn for others as well as itself, to build, heal and provide, giving before it is asked and without expecting thanks. Lived selfishly, she says, it brings a constant fear of poverty.
