The Sun in Capricorn
The Sun is the lasting self, what you are slowly becoming. What Alan Leo wrote of it:
The climber. Patient, exact, industrious and self-reliant, you build steadily while others dream, and you often rise by your own merit. Leo calls this the strongest of the signs and the sign of service. Its shadow is gloom and doubt; hope, cheerful company and a change of scene are his remedy.
The colours of this sign: ambition, endurance and respect for time.

The cardinal mode leads: you are made to start things, to open new seasons.
The dates are approximate: the Sun enters each sign at a slightly different hour every year, so people born on the first or last day should check their chart.
In love
In love, Capricorn is serious, loyal and slow to open, but builds lasting bonds; it shows love through responsibility.
At work
At work, Capricorn is ambitious, disciplined and strategic; it climbs steadily to positions of authority.
Counsel
Make room for joy along the way; the summit is not the only reward.
The Moon in Capricorn
The Moon is the inner child: moods, habits and what you need to feel at home.
A cautious, calculating and capable personality, with an administrative gift that tends to bring you before the public. Leo warns that recognition here comes with some drawback and that this Moon can seem cold; consideration for the feelings of others softens it.
The Ascendant in Capricorn
The Ascendant, the sign rising in the east at your birth, is the door through which you meet the world.
Ambitious, persevering and persistent; reserved, firm and self-reliant, wanting to be at the head of affairs. Your path depends on moral growth and the power to organise and rise above early difficulties. Positions of trust advance you, and tact and prudence bring recognition.
