The Sun in Gemini
The Sun is the lasting self, what you are slowly becoming. What Alan Leo wrote of it:
The two-sided mind. Versatile, quick and curious, drawn to words, books and ideas, you can do many things at once. Leo warns of nervous restlessness and a habit of leaving things unfinished; your strength grows when one interest is carried through to the end.
The colours of this sign: curiosity, quick words and a mind that never sits still.

The mutable mode leads: you are made to adapt, to change shape, and to carry things from one season to the next.
The dates are approximate: the Sun enters each sign at a slightly different hour every year, so people born on the first or last day should check their chart.

The Moon in Gemini
The Moon is the inner child: moods, habits and what you need to feel at home.
A busy, curious personality. You love books, study and conversation, are clever with your hands and often on the move, with short trips and changes of home. Leo notes a gift for writing, selling and speaking, and a risk of scattering energy for lack of perseverance.
The Ascendant in Gemini
The Ascendant, the sign rising in the east at your birth, is the door through which you meet the world.
Kind, willing, humane, curious and expressive. Your life advances through learning and the mind, with cleverness and a talent for invention. Leo's image for this sign is either the chatterer or the scholar: your path improves as restlessness and scattered effort are overcome.
